Nitrate ?

curious why use stability over seaChem prime/safe.
 
Stability has a bacteria culture in it? Prime doesn't.

why would i put something i use in a septic system to my tank? i am sure lots folks going to come back at me, there is no short cut to cycling short of putting an already seeded filter on it. stuff just stinks and fine for breaking down gunk, but as far as the nitrate cycle goes just worthless. fish in cycle? water change every other day dosed with prime. fishless? just let that puppy run. IMHO

Imo stability didnt do jack... was just curious... some guys swear it sped up the cycle

stability a pro-biotic, it is a Bactria that does not require oxygen and occurs naturally under your substrate if you have one, in no way, shape, or form does it process ammonia, nitrite. some say can reduce sludge build up in your filters. i am up in the air on that. but for cycling? its useless. nother way for comp to make money off the consumer.
 
not matter, could dump a gallon of the crap in your tank, not make a dif on cycling it. you might as well grab a turd after pooping and drop in the tank. wrong bacteria.
