how many gallon is your tank? do you have good water movement in the tank? do you have a protein skimmer? more live rock the better, good water movement moves the ditrius which causes high nitrate, skimmer removes waste in the tank which eventually breaks down to nitrates

yes its a marine test kit? it says MARINE on the top of it , and its a 30 gallon aquarium , its has a protein skimmer built for 125 gallons and a filter built for 125 gallons, theres a lot of movement , plus two power heads

What Fish You have? Maybe try a hospital tank until you get those nitrates down! Good Luck!

Try another test kit. I stir my substrate I don't do nothing more than that. You also try matrix de*nitrate

14lbs of LR on a 30g tank is a little low, also don't shake the test for 5 minutes. add drops from bottle 1, mix it gently, shake bottle 2 for 30 seconds, add drops, shake for 1 minute. if you shake it too long or do things out of order its easy to get a false reading. how much water were you changing each saturday?
