Reminds me of a younger me. LOL! I now have some self control at fish auctions.

This is why you go to auctions to get rid of some fish to make room for new fish. Go there to trade fish, not add fish. You'll never have enough room to keep every species you want.

I will be interested in mid size CA/SAs such as cryptoheros, geophagus and aquidens.

Those end-of-the-day bag lots typically make for great feeders though!

i'm always up for midsize central american cichlids or interesting catfish or jade gobies. and someone always brings something unexpected which is fun. pipedream would be a ray or some monsterfish but those are tough to come by for these events but one can dream

A few years ago I picked up a ray at one of the NJAS auctions. It does happen. Other monster fish also show up occasionally.
