I feed them NLS exclusively since they were 1.5"

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it..
I think they haven't reached their full potential yet though due to them sharing a tank.. I'm still thinking of a way to solve this..
But overall they are coming along nicely

Aside from the deformities, Excellent looking Red monkey. He has a nice looking fade going on there.

I always thought that the one with gill curl is a red dragon.. What do you cross breed to get a red monkey?
Btw, about the fading, which one were you referring to? I don't think Harvey(red monkey) is fading though..

Just keep in mind that if you want these fish to truly show their best, they will require larger tank space. If you check out my KK update in the FH media lounge, that fish was raised by itself in a 6ft 125 gallon tank.
Food is only as good as the genetics of the fish, AND the quality of the water that the fish lives in.

A Red Monkey is a Kamfa by the way, and those are not Red Monkey. Still a nice fish no doubt.

I truly agree that fh needs large space but I'm lacking space for a bigger tank.. There's a lot of consideration needed if I wanted to upgrade / add new tank because the tank itself has to be on the floor for easy maintenance so the idea of building a rack is out the window hence the "lack of space"
I'll grow them out a little bit more until I can figure out how to solve this 1 tank for 1 fish problem..
