NLS feeding instructions?

The day off habit is a good suggestion for beginners because it's fairly common to overfeed and that can lead to fat fish, dirty water, and other unwanted tank issues like algae and snails etc.
Probably true in many cases, gives them a chance to clear an overloaded gut, not really an issue if you don't overfeed in the first place.

My feeding routine goes hand in hand with my maintenance routine. More food i put in=more water gets changed. Keeping track of water parameters when youre establishing a routine is very helpful, gives you an idea of how fast nitrates are rising and when theyre going to be past an acceptable level.

With adult fish I typically keep feeding more random, some days more, some days less, some days nothing. I also never feed on water change day.

At least NLS are courteous enough to put feeding guidelines on their packaging.

I have a bag of frozen peas and a jar of hot dog sausages and the guidelines on their packaging regarding feeding are sketchy at best. It's total guesswork with that stuff, lol.
