NLS is pissing me OFF!!!!

I bought NLS the other week and all my fish chew on it for a couple minutes and most of the food comes out of their gills!
They don't do this to hikari? Not only is NLS making my water dirty, it is also wasting my MONEY

My fish do the exact same thing. That is why I feed more hikari then NLS.

What a coincidence your fish do the exact same thing! Almost like they're the same fish.

I feed my fry crushed flakes the first week, then it's .5mm NLS, when they're bigger it's 1mm and all my adult fish get 3mm. What they expel my Clown Loaches and plecos clean up in my big tank. Freeze dried shrimps, the occasional Convict fry, freeze dried bloodworms, night crawlers and ghost shrimp are the only things I feed them otherwise. But those are all just treats that they're fed monthly to once or twice a week.

So what if it expells out of their gills. Your scavengers should clean that no promblem. I had a 10 inch fossochromis rosturus that would eat the 1 mm pellets. Don't care what anyone says NLS blows Hikari away with me. I feed NLS exclusively to my fish and my 50 gallon community has been set up for 10 years and never had any disease outbreak in that tank. But to each his own.
