NLS Pellets Weird Smell?

Nope, never kept that species. Any quality pellet will be fine.

I will also add, I have never fed bloodworms to a fish. Blood worms, black worms, are like crack to a fish. Once they get started on that food many fish become uber picky, some to the point that they are near impossible to train onto a dry food which for me personally is always the end goal.

Oh Okay, i feed bloodworm sometimes just for extra nutrition and also it is easier to get to the bottom feeding fish.

FYI .... frozen bloodworms typically consist of 80% water, and water has no nutrient value to a fish.

After just one day of starvation, my fish is adapting well to the NLS pellets.. I'm currently feeding it 30~40 pellets in one sitting and it just eats them all up.. At some point, it even went after the really tiny pieces that managed to escape its gills and mouth..
I think it can eat more but I try not to overfeed..

Hmm. I knew they were not exactly great but thanks for that info. I cant really afford to feed frozen krill or brineshrimp due to the fact that it costs so much here.

I guess i need to find more earthworms to bulk them a bit
