NLS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
mine are just starting to pick at it. it's a good food..not the best, but good.

i've had bestter results raising them on ocean nutrition prime reef flakes and a BH mix. but a good variety is best.

There's a local breeder here that has approx 3,000 gallons worth of tanks full of discus, all eating NLS exclusively. His water quality stays higher, longer, and no need to wipe the slime build up every other day from feeding BH.

Ken Davis from fishfarm used to use it as well - here's a past comment of his.

"I'm sold on the stuff, the growth formula really puts size on fry and they love it, I feed the discus formula to all my fish, even wilds will suck it up. I was sold on how even finicky fish would eat it and the colors it brings out in fish. I have a wall full of plaques from the ACA conventions to prove it. Many first place and this last year Best in Show."

While I have no idea if Ken still feeds NLS, it was obviously working well for him when he was.
