Oh man I'm sorry. What a beautiful cat. Glad you had one pull through!

thats what i love about having almost all atmos bbreathers in my tank, they just come up and breathe oxy levels dont really matter, at least you were able to save one!! you did all you could given the circumstances, all you can really do is prepare so if something like this happens again you can save your fish, the october storm that hit buffalo in 2009 killed mad of my friends fish, i hadnt really gotten into it at that point but i helped them clean out the dead cichlids etc. so for sure invest in a battery powered air pump, that at the least will keep the fish alive till the filter heater etc comes back on!

that is awesome to see the survivor doing so well. :) GL with continues success with it.

Yeah that does suck bro I just went threw the same thing about 2-3 weeks ago all of a sudden my pbass started to drop one by one but I noticed the signs in time and saved all 5 in one shot by pulling them from the tank into fresh water and literally held them one at a time with the bubbler right under there mouths and gills don't know how it works so well but I had to do this one time before and I saved that fish as well sad sight to see but don't let it discourage u too much
