Actually, he knew that they weren't that great. It was predicted that the series would be a flop before things got good. That is why he went with Star Wars to open the series.

Star Wars is definitely one of my most favourites, Phantom Menace may have been a disappointment to many, so was the Clone Wars...but I watched the whole saga as a single movie and it was amazing. Revenge of the Sith to me is definitely one of the best creation besides Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. There are more to come in the future that begins from Luke's and Princess Leia's children. I read the story, sounds amazing. What a brilliant creation by George Lucas, a man who created a universe.

Lol that's not what it meant! I meant Princess Leia's and Han's son as well as Luke's and his wife's ( whoever it is ) son. Luke's son would be Ben Skywalker ( after Ben Kenobi a.k.a Obiwan Kenobi ), not sure about Leia's son. Probably some Sky****er.
 
I thought this thread was going to be a joke because the scene that was originally posted could have been the corniest, worst scene i've EVER seen in ANY movie.

Whoever played anikan/darth vador needs to be punched. (he was a worse actor then mark hammill)

Oh man, I really like ep 4 5 and 6 but you couldn't pay me to watch 1 2 and 3 again. HORRID.
