My current biggest is only 100, but I am hopeful. Also you can read the DIY section and make an inexpensive one. You don't want to leave home do you??? What about all the witty and witless banter?
I do want to leave home, but I have no where the means financially to build my own tank. I was going to get a larger tank once I get out, but idk if ill even be able to keep my current tank.

My largest is 55g. But i try keep somewhat rare and/or aggressive species. Basically I try to keep what they don't carry in chain stores.

Grammodes is as much monster as i can muster now.

Monster is in the eye of the beholder!

I've only got a 55g as my biggest tank cause I'm in an apartment at the moment. I love the site though. So much information across all the subjects you could ever be curious about. Just because you might not be able to provide advice anymore, you can still read up and get wisdom from the other members here. I've even used the DIY forums on different ways to make cheap stands, cheap decorations, cheap fake plants, etc. I'm a starving gradute student, so cheap and DIY is the name of the game for me. I see it as a challenge, how to have the best looking tank and spend the least amount of money. So don't bail on us, hang out and benefit from everyone!

...or at least enjoy the pretty pictures.

If i could get a tank of monsters right now i totally would, but the need to save money has outweighed that

I have a 55g as well, but I know I want to move up once i get out of my apartment. while this site has little pertaining specificly to my current tank and stocking, theres a tremendous amount to learn in general, let alone more specific aspects. not to mention, theres the diy threads and the picture threads to drool over.

now to me, a big part of anything I do like this is planning. I love to plan, and research and then come up with other ideas. A site like this, theres always new ideas, new thoughts, differnt ways of doing things and differnt things to see.

you do not have to have monster tanks to be a monster fish keeper..and if you have learned everything there is to know.. please help some others who are just starting out.. and help by welcoming them in introduction.. you are needed here... always..
