Ok, so I sold 25 red devils to a lfs (jacks aquarium) last friday. I called to see how many they sold today and I found out they killed 10 or so the first night because the manager put them in a 15 gallon tank. Most of them were 3"!! Common sense would tell you otherwise. And he's a manager?? Im pissed! I would have kept them if I knew who I was dealing with...

They did that when I sold the LFS around a here 20+ convict cichlids. Alot of them were rounding an inch and this lady stuck all of them in a 10 gal with 10 convict cichlids that were already in there. Needless to say I can back a few days later to see some of mine dead at the bottom of the tank. It made me soo mad. And yet they wont hire me? haha I know alot more then 90% of the people that work there. But whatever. Thats why they have a full grown Clown Knife Fish in a 75gal along with a 9inch pleco and a foot long catfish. Idiots.

sorry for my rant, but I completely know how you feel.

Sounds about right. Mine just got a beautiful wood cat already about 11-13" and they stuck him in a 20, with a 8-10" CK, poor bastards. They even had a big prolly 300gallon slot with maybe a couple dozen fancy guppies.

Well they called it a wood cat, but everything I'm reading says they only grow 6", this guy was a foot or so and looked young don't know what it is, looked like a red tail with different markings.
*sigh* and I still sell them rats I breed, good, healthy, friendly rats that they plop down in mixed sex groups with rats their other supplier gives them that are still a couple weeks from being weened and dying quick.

may have been a RTCxTSN hybrid?

Did you expect better from Jacks? Seriously...

Well honestly, yes. I know the district manager pretty well. And I know a few other people at a different location. But I guess I shouldnt assume they all have common sense...
