Glad to hear that. Just knowing you maybe going home must make you feel a bit better. Fingers crossed for you!

Well just got the good news. If all of my blood tests and vitals and fever do good and show improvement enough I get to go home tomorrow.

HOpe your about home.
Good luck and speedy recovery to ya!

Yippie!!! I got to go home this morning. My blood work shows my infection count is on the decline. My White blood cells are still a little high but not as bad as my initial. Basically if the average count on the infection blood work would be at 13% or below. Mine currently is at about 52% and dropping. Down from a full pegged 100% last week. So they said im good there. My vitals are good blood pressure back to normal with 120/68. For a guy my size thats good. Fever down to none and temp is now more normal with the assistance of the drugs. I will be on 3 different IV antibiotics for the next 2 months. Along with Pain meds and some other stuff. BUT The good part is back home I got to go. So Im sitting here with my Laptop and my dog and my fish and of course the wife and rest of my belonings. lol.. It feels so much better to be back. Its really strange going outside when you havent even seen outdoors for days...

Thanks to you all for your well wishes and the company. Id have gone nuts without any outlet. Its appreciated from the bottom of my heart.

Good deal!!glad to hear life's a bit more fun for you .....hang in there, you got a lot of people rooting for your full recovery

Glad to read that you're home. ENJOY!

Yay!

Any clue of what causes the regression so you avoid it?

Thank you so much to everyone. The support means more then most know.

Brother Miguel, they have been trying to figure out what the cause is for some time. This time around they brought in several doctors that are specialist in various things. Several years ago during my earlier years when I did bodybuilding and trained very heavy. There was something that caused some sort of vascular damage to my legs as well as to my glandular system. These things control the return flow of blood and fluids back to my heart from my legs. What the belief is that due to this after my first infection the infection made friends with my body. Now the infection likes to live in my system due to the damage in my circulatory system. So hopefully they will be able to address the cause and some day fix it with some procedures.

Btw. Not that it has bearing. Incase someone wonders. Steroids were never a factor. While yes I know plenty about them the damage caused was due to a physical nature.
