u want to get some females for him but ropefish arent that common in my lfs unfortunatly.... i actually wanted to make sure he wasnt only eating the snails so that i can take them out when i get a female and hope for some eggs

If ropefish aren't that common in your lfs ask the owner or an employee if they can order you another one or two, I'm sure they would be able to
