I use my friend's Sony DSC-F717.

I use the Manual setting with manual focus.

I use varying shutter speed and apertures depending on the distance of the fish from the camera and the strength of the lighting.

I don't normally use flash so I need to have very strong light strips on top of the tank, or the pictures will come out very dark. When light is low and there's nothing I can do about it, I also use high ISO settings but that increases the noise so I have to use Adobe Photoshop to reduce that.

What kind are they? I dont really like birchirs that much.
