oh ok it is jus closed, but i dun get what issues it caused? seems junk to me, and y'll no if any one had chances of seriously getting mfk in the record books. we cuda, but still.... back to my fish....
I just want to get my two cents in since everyone else is. Yes the lounge is the place where you can post stuff that's not fish related but during MFK's 'team' phase, a lot of really good threads got ignored and thrown to the side. The team awesome thread alone had over 100 pages of people just talking smack on the others on the forum. It seemed that every member on MFK had a 'join my team' thread. The upsetting thing about that, IN MY OPINION, is that while members were on here squabbling about who has the bigger ego, threads from noobie fish keepers sat with no replies. and THAT'S not what MFK is about. Now that I've gotten that out, I'm going to go and patiently wait for feedback on my DIY thread.
I hear ya, but the truth is, you dont really have to see the thread. those that want to will ignore it, and move on to the fish-related threads. with all this stuff that just happened, i feel that kinda ruined the whole MFK thing for me since I was getting to know some really good people. after the incident, ill prob just stick to lurking

I'm one of those guys who goes to every section of the forum to glean information and I go to the lounge to just lounge really. and I know I'm not the only one who does that. but during the team phase, the only threads available in the lounge were team threads. the occasional "other" thread died quicker than you can snap a finger because there was no dialogue.

ya the lounge is off topic but it wasnt the lounge it was team bla.
you dont know how hard it has to be for the mods to try to watch those threads and edit as needed.
and its funny how one thread made you get to know people but a huge forum cant do that for ya?lol

.....They say "teams" happened at the last site they were on...And they keep mentioning that there is now "less" traffic there. They say it was the team that were the downfall....And other members keep saying stuff like "this is getting out of hand".....I just would rather stop now then do ANY damage to our perfect site.....
