No one from Chicago tried to save these koi?

It's a shame to kill them, but the new pond and shoreline restoration project is awesome. I never heard about this, but probally would have not taken any of them reguardless.
 
Ughhh, that sucks. I'm sure there was a better way to controll them. Besides, if you're targeting LMB or Channel Catfish, tiny little feral Goldfish are EASY to avoid.:irked:
 
good keep the none natives out of the pond by any means to get the job done
 
yea its about time places started doing this...granted...the goldfish was the victim and it was man's fault it was there in the first place...the enviornment comes first. it would of been good to give them away but there were probably way too many and leeast they got to live in wild to adulthood unlike feeder commets
