No one in my house likes krill

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My senegals LOVED krill, ravenously devouring any and all bits (whole or partial) in their grow-out. Now that they're in a 55, they won't touch it. My ornate ignores krill, and the only fish that pick at it are rosy barbs (in with the sens). I stopped even trying - it's silversides, sinking carnivore pellets, and blood/blackworms now.

yeah.. i bought the omega one freeze dried krill.. and i don't think my piranhas like it much... they can never finish a piece..

get a whale shark to eat the krill the other fish don't eat. :D

Strange, all my fish love krill... especially my RTC... he takes in 4-5 at a time... such a pig

I have had success with krill since I started this thread a while back. My Texas eats the cubes, and my Lima, Bichirs, and Pike like the frozen whole krill.

All my cichlids will eat a little bit of the hikari frozen cube krill but only eat half of it and spit the other half out. I can tell what little they do eat of it has done to their colors, as the JD has a constant pink tint on his stomach and blue one top, and my texas purple colors darkened almost to black in 3-4 days. Good stuff, lots of protein AND fiber.

Since my senegal has gotten big will refuse to eat any FD food.
