The Famous Malawi Bloat. There is no known cause. Some think it is an internal parasite, some say it is from the food being fed. African Cichlids are mostly vegetarians. They need spirulina in their diet to prevent that. If you catch it quick enough, metronidazole will cure it. None of that LFS meds with 20% Metronidazole. You need the real deal 100% pure powder Metro.

Holy mackeral! My sailfin molly was like that, didn't think of opening it.

If you want a good scapel, all you need is a sharp modelling knife. Trust me, it's sharp enough, cut deep into my hand LOL
