Not if the tip is submerged. Only an air hole would break that siphon
Totally agree.

I think you may be right. Although one is clearly above the water line the other two are below and still draining.Pictures would help if you have them. Based off of what you are saying though, it sounds like the other return portion is keeping the siphon running as the exit of the tank is below the water line. So I think that would act similar to Durso in your return out of the water is venting the air and allowing the siphon to continue. I could be totally wrong, just bouncing ideas.
I think section he means 1 of the 3 split returns into the tank. So there are 3 jets, like a pitchfork returning the water to the tank. 1 of those tines is bent at the water line so it in theory would break the siphon.
Yes. Exactly. I have 1 branch of each locline above the water. The other 2 in the series still drain even when that one is out. I'll take a pic tonight.

Haha! I know it.It is possible that the suction/siphon is strong enough that it can still suck up enough water to stay siphoning. But that would be more like a situation where you have a big pipe with only a very small hole.
Either we're misunderstanding your plumbing or you're violating the laws of physics.![]()
Here’s a pic. I feel like it’s all there. The lineloc on the right is exposed to air as soon as the pump is off. The second pic are the returns coming in so my houghtbis they’re above it.Your connecting knuckle is too low. Need to raise it up with elbows. Water drains to the lowest access point. I had the same problem on a recent setup and modified a siphon stopper to solve it.

Yup, the returns on the left maintain the siphon. They are a 2nd pipe, need to break them too.
