good job on finding the pics first oddball... that is on sick looking knife...i want

I have a spotless knife. I am pretty sure she is a gold clown with no spots. Her body shape is the same as my other 2 clowns and just slightly different then my royal. Her gold color is very similar to my gold clown who has brown spots. Here's an old picture of her. I got her really cheap ($6) at Petsmart as a baby a few years ago. I have not seen other spottless ones since. I would love to get a true albino knife, but I have not seen one yet:)

That's a neat lookin' fish. They get to a similar size as a clown? And for that matter are they found in the aquarium trade @ all?

Notoperus Notoperus are smaller, growing to 2' but smaller in captivity. They are more aggressive than the regular CKs I've seen them for sale before, but only once. They were all scared up from fighting with one another.

I have seen a "lighter colored" C. Lopis before. It was more of a tan color than the "golden" morphs of the CKs

Notopterus notopterus is not the same as the fish we are talking about, there was just a spelling mistake on the scientific name given Chitla lopsis should have been Chitala lopis. That is given that it has the same shape as a normal CK. The face of Notopterus notopterus is more rounded than Chitala lopis.
