TMK all non-spotted Satanoperca have the black marking to some degree. They just don't show it often. This particular fish was displaying to the OH's males in the QT tank. I couldn't resist a couple pics. Once it graduates QT and goes in with the group I'll update with pics.

I'm sure it will tone it down a notch when it's away from the OH's and all their crazyness.
