I was just curious to see if anyone else experiences this...

I feed my fish OmegaOne pellets, and I can actually hear my oscar crunching them from well outside the tank

and does anyone else have carnivorus common plecos? mine seems to like freeze dried kirll and live night crawlers :screwy:

Yes, feeding pellets to any of my loaches I can hear them popping through two rooms away.

my gouramis and angels also make huge popping sounds when they take flake food, sometimes they splash me, my puffers also have large popping sounds.

Ive found that common plecos are more scavengers than anything else. Mine will eat anything they come across.

My blue gill hits mealworms or crickets so hard he makes a huge bang when he hits.

My oscars all make pop noises when they eat the pellets and i can hear them crunching them. I likw. It cool. My common pleco eats thefrozen silversides i put in for the bottom dwellers of my tank.

the common pleco i had a few years ago ate baby gupies and i think it killed a few big ones too. it was only 4-5". then it got killed by my ID shark :owned: . they both lived in a 10 gal. w/ 19 guppies :headshake :headshake :newbie: :wall:. this was when i had no clue what i was doing. i would never do that again
