I can usually get my Oscar to jump out of the water at least half way to get his food...lol...He will get you wet! I do this when my friends come over...I show them how he feeds...Its like a Shamu show...He jumps and gulps, and gets everyone wet!!! lol
I can also hear him crunch pellets and crayfish....He LOOOOOVES crayfish!

my dat is a noisy eater especially when taking pellet from the surface.
i dont understand why it does not go and mouth them to eat them and not outstreach its mouth everytime.
the water makes a loud popping sound.
i have heard my fish crunching pellets too.

My RD cruches all the time especially on goldfish
