Noisy Overflow

Here is your solution as was mine. Oceanic has an overflow accessory kit part # 70009. On the back of the box there is a # R10400. This is the way to go. NO more noise form overflow. Check it out

i have external overflow boxes on my 210 any ideas?

I have an Amiracle 300 wet/dry on my 180. Using the overflow boxes that came with the filter. I put a thin piece of plexi over them and they are quiet now. The tank is in a wall between family room and laundry room , so noise really isnt an issue. About all you can hear in laundry room is water going thru hoses to top of filter. Kelly

In the picture above is the second pipe a flow back to the tank from the sump???

would the noise be considered plumbing burping? if it is, try putting a 2 ft plastic rope (like the ones used on clothesline) into the plumbing, part of it sticking out.
