I am interested in a wet pet for a 75 gallon currently it houses 6 odessa barbs. I am wanting something unique that isn't a cichlid.

Thanks

How about a leopard ctenopoma or a single archer fish. Both are interesting fish and should fit well in a 75 gallon.
The cteno could be a little shy but give them plenty of plants for cover and they will feel more comfortable. I used to love to watch mine hunt for ghost shrimp. I currently have a single freshwater archerfish in my 55 and he's always out swimming around. His staple food is pellets but I also buy him live crickets to spit at.

A jade goby or marbled goby? Nice oddballs but will eat anything they can fit in their mouths. Jade goby is more active than marbled goby. Something different.

Bluegill, I taught my last one to jump thru hoops, he loved hand feeding and being petted.

If you are not in the US I would say a single golden cobra snakehead (barbs will have to go) or a black piranha (I never had one but would love to)..just ideas.

Yeah I live in Oklahoma and all of the choice are great most would have to be ordered online, but I have ordered from wet spot before with success in the past.
