Sure thing! Sorry about that, I've been so busy with work that I completely forgot! I'll do that today and get it posted for you. Thanks for the compliment - It's not without flaw, but I like it!
how much did all the supplies cost you? never done a indoor pond, had a lightbulb of how it would work, but havent put it to the test. how big is the rubbermaid? does the metal sheet serve a purpose? ;,) it look so lovely
The sheet metal is only there so that it doesn't look like a big huge grey rubbermaid tub in the middle of our livingroom! LOL! I think it makes it a little less of an eyesore The sheet on top of the sump just makes the sound of the filter much quieter, and helps cut down with water loss via evaporation. The sheet metal was about $28 total. The stock tank I got from a friend, but they're a little more than $200. Here's a link at TSC; http://www.tractorsupply.com/stock-...ral-foam-stock-tanks-300-gal-capacity-2229935 The sump was about $20, the lava rock was about $2 per bag, and I used 3 or 4 bags (can't remember), so $6-$8 total. The sand in the tank was 3 bags of Crystal River Caribsea Super Naturals Sand, and it's about $20 a bag. Pump was about $120? Heaters were about $80 together (two of them). The light we already had, but it's just a super cheap aquarium strip light, and the acrylic for the top was on sale at Menards for about $43 (we already had the 2x4's and stain for the grid top). And that's about it! I'm not a math wizard, but it really wasn't that bad to set up. I really wanted to make it all look decent - I didn't want an ugly tank in a room since it's very visible right when you walk into our house - I'm still not done with the room, but it's getting there! I appreciate your compliment! Thank you! What kind of setup do you have currently?
i dont have any indoor pond setup but looking foward to it. i dont have 125 + 60 atm but from what i research ray require at least 180+ so i figure i rather do a pool afterall they are flat bottom fish with pattern on the upper skin. :x so tempted
