Non-sinking driftwood

Ever try to boil driftwood on a turkey fryer? Will that help?

I've srewed wood to 1/4" thick plastic, W x L determined by the size and boyancy of the wood, and burried it in the gravel or sand. that works until it becomes waterlogged

i have a peace sunk in my creek bin there a year and it it still floats when i take the blocks off it. getting better tho gonna weigh a tone when it does finaly git waterlogged
