ok so i got a 29 gallon biocube and after like a month of waiting and finally decided it was time to get a corl and fish so i got a blue damsel and a small colony i guess you would call it of zoanthids and 2 mushroom corals about 4 days ago idk what kind they were n the clearance rack LOL but anyways the zoas and one of the mushrooms are doing great and looking good but the other one doesnt open all the way and is turning a dull color is he dead or just in shock ? or is he stressed can corals get stressed ?

A. quit bumping.... B. What are your water params? What kind of lighting? What else is in the tank? Placement of corals?

ok sorry water params are normal well the LFS told me they were i need a new test kit and they cant get some in for while so they tested it for me and the lighting is just the lights that came with the tank an actinic and a daylight bulb and the mushrooms are on the same rock but arent touvhing each other and the zoa in on the other side

you really need to get a kit. Can you get a pic of the shroom?

i know but my LFS wont have them in until the weekend and i have no way of taking a pic :(

well without knowing the exact params or a pic its hard to help. do you use r/o water?

It could just be a stressed coral

could be bad water
salt too high
salt too low
too much light
too much flow
not enough flow
tank might not be cycled

how much flow is there the dont get that much but there is a slight current

Corals should be kept at 1.026. What are you using for flow?
