noob here. tryin to see if i can take better pics of my fish with the camera i got or do i need to buy a new one.(dont laugh):lol: i have a kodak easyshare m883 8 mp. just wondering if its even usable or do i just need to spend some money and get something way better. thanks in advance.
 
Welcome to APF!

Every camera is usable in aquarium photography, you just have to work harder with some of them. Post a photo in the Photography 101 section, so we can see where you are at and we should be able to provide some helpful info. Be sure to tell us about the camera settings (if you remember) and the lighting you used (just the lights of the tank, flash or both).

Be sure to read through some of the existing threads, as there is lots of useful information already posted.
 
Welcome to the forum! I'm not familiar with the camera you have, but I have seen some awfully good photography with point n' shoot cameras. Why don't you post one of your better pics in the photography 101/critique section and we can provide some feedback to you? You may be better than you think with your camera. :)
