i dont have the oscar yet,im am doing some research still,he will be a loner w maybe some smaller fish and invertabraes

and dont worry about the filtration guys,its a dry/wet w/4 levels=) does fairly well on a 55g

Holy?! A 55g wet dry for a 10 gallon tank? Maybe make sure that the output from the filter isn't going to make a whirlpool of that tank. . .

no it dose good on 55

I understand that. But with all due respect, a filter made for a 55g or bigger (?) will be produce a pretty strong current for a small tank like a 10 gallon. Unless ilikewomen means he will have a wet dry for the bigger tank in the future.

if you dont have an oscar yet dont buy one, save your money for a 75g and then buy an oscar. oscars are extremely messy and are ammonia factories, they dont really belong in a 10g at any size.

It will last about 3 months if you follow a proper (rigourous) water change schedule, and have proper filtration (about 300+ gph).
