noob question about oscar

Don't do it. No point putting an Oscar in a 10. at 1.5 inches he is already too big 9or will be in a month.

No fun to watch a fish die.
 
I agree get at least a 55 gallon before you get an Oscar.
 
You could probably do 3 oscars in the 10 gallon for life. You gotta overstock the tank, to keep aggression down. Trust me, I'm an expert....
 
good news,researching for my 95 gal tank build,thanks for the help guys.( no i didnt plan on getting the oscar until i reasearched)

this 8" oscar I rescued last night, its was in a 10G tank till this morning :O

dont rush on buying a baby one.. till you got a big tank for it x.x

and he is (according to the previous owner) 6 months old
