i dont want to be hagged on but can i put a 8 inch bichir with 3 3 inch red bellies?

im no expert but my guess is no piranha are fast moving fish bichers are slow.
its your decision just know anyday could be the bichirs last
 
i agree that the piranahas may make a meal of the bichir.
 
even if i can keep the piranhas well fed?
 
the piranhas are only the size of a quarter. thats why i was wondering if i can do it now while they are so small an he is big. its a poly sen. so he will get bout 1 ft.

just because they are small and quarter dont mean anything they will out grow your bicher.

I promise you if you put it in there it will never grow to 1 ft.

Well dude I do not know much about Bichirs, however the other scenary could be your P's eding up eaten by the bichir as your P's are considerably smaller than the mentioned fish...

Anyway you can try if you want those are your fish and your money. We are giving you some advice based on our expirience of years kepping P's. and I don't think I would work partner. One of the basic rules for the P' keeper is not to keep any other fish along with piranha unless you're not too attached to that or those fish....:cry:

It's your call.
