really cause in tanks poly sens get about a ft long an i think 16" in the wild.

Bichirs require a lot of floor space; the height of the tank doesn't matter. You should note that since these specimens can grow over 12" long, they should be kept in a 50+ gallon tank. There should be a gap of air in the tank allowing the bichir to gulp air, the tank can't be full of water. Bichirs are escape artists. Without a secure lid on an aquarium, the fish will eventually escape, and go quite a long distance before drying out and dying.

So what?. I just see two scenaries: The piranha killing that fish or if the bichir si kind of agressive he'd end up killing the P's as he is bigger.

Just two scenaries partener, keep this in mind.

i cant see this being a succes.sooner or later,as the piranha grows, the bichir will start loosing his fins, then flesh...finally a dead bichir with punched out areas all over the body.

He will die. Maybe not tomorrow but he will die.............

probably not the best idea

Your bichir will end up being food. If you like your bichir, do not do it.
