What freshwater morays are we talking about here? I believe out of the species that are labeled as "freshwater" only a few do well even in brackish.

My vote goes to the FW lionfish or toadfish. My personal favorite fish hands down, but if you can't find one I'd go with the moray provided you have space.

I’m assuming Indian mud eels. Not fresh, salinity of about 1.015.
