get a leopard plec they get like 4-5" from what i was told. and they look really cool.

i have yet to see a leopard (of any kind) that stays under 12"

yeah dont buy plecos because you want them to clean your tanks, they dont do it well enough to justify having one for that reason. they also need a diet of vegetable matter, zuchinni, algae wafers, pumpkin, green leafy veggies.

This statement is too broad, and not true. Plecos... or more precisely Loricariids, are a wide variety of catfish that have diets ranging from wood eaters to sponge eaters, and even meat eaters. There is only one true pleco, being Hypostomus plecostomus, which is rarely seen in the hobby anymore.

do all these pleco contiune to clean tanks even when full grow or do they stop when they mature or reach full size

I highly recommend you do some research about loricariids. They are a very diverse group of fish, that range from 2.5" all the way to nearly 40".

i think i forgot the frog part but anyway it was fantastic fins that told me that.
