I think you can keep an Oscar in a 55G. and be just fine. But the Oscar and nothing more.

How about a simple needlefish? They seem basic enough, and similar to the gar. I think my mom kept a few once but I remember her saying they were really skittish. I've read they are schooling fish, but some sites say keep either 1 or 3+. Can I keep just one needlefish and my senegal together? (in my 40gal tank not my current 10gal)

My other four tanks make up for the lost fun, LOL. The reason why I first put my O alone in a 55G is because he got HITH but I plan on keeping him in there from now on.
