noodling for plecos!!!

The lake at Wekiva Springs is loaded with bowfin like that. Lake Monroe and Lake Jessup both have them too. You can find them in the shallows in the spring and summer in about 1ft to 1.5ft. The best bait is shiners.

Someone should make a heated lake and fill it with every Pleco, I'd spend a whole day trying to find the best pleco and take it home

Also snakeheads have a long anal fin and bowfins have a very short one, that's how you tell the difference
