Noooo! Cracked Pond

Hey,
Just picked up my 250g preformed pond. It had been used for a year years ago then placed in storage. For being old its in great shape but there is a small 1/2 inch crack in the corner. I was thinking I could just apply liberal amounts of epoxy to the area then cover that in aquarium sealent. Will this work or do I just need to toss a rubber pond liner in it instead.

not so sure about preformed pounds, but sounds like you got it down and just to make sure id put aquarium safe silicone around it

Thanks I added some pictures, I decided that worst case scenario if the epoxy does not work I will just cover it with pond liner. Another cheaper idea was to toss a sheet of thick mil plastic(not pond liner) in along with the patched pond, just in case.

sealing might work but if it was me i just get a pond liner for it. either way best of luck

nice! tell me how it goes! what are you gunna stock it with? an if all hope fails use Mighty Putty

I havent tried it yet, I think I am going to use a propane torch to melt HPDE over the crack since thats what its made from and very few glues stick to it.
