I just found out that Sting Rays are illegal in California! WTF?!?!?!?!!?

First they take the hope of one day owning Piranhas away from me, and now they take the hope of one day owning Sting Rays away?

I swear, if they come after my Pacu the war is ON.



PS: Don't read into this too much, but... how severe of a penalty is there for owning Sting Rays in California and then selling the pups? Just amuse me.

Yup stingrays, Gars and plenty more fish. Actually I dont really know anymore about gars, I been seeing them in LFSs.

If you got caught with an illegal fish, it would get taken away and you'd receive a big fine. I think really thats it. Harsher penalties for breeding, importing and releasing illegal fish.

Yeah, except I don't do saltwater, and I might end up killing the ray. I think my mom would literally murdered me if I a) bought a 400 dollar fish, and b) unwittingly killed the fish.
