They didn't get caught with stingrays and were selling prohibited fish but still you'll get in alot of trouble i would be supprised if you got jail time but a few thousand dollar fine sounds about right plus haveing them invade your home pull the stingray out of your tank and kill it right in front of you would be alittle irritating
Also freshwater atlantic stingrays are NOT beginer stingrays they require massive water changes all most every day and need a very large aquarium
