I have been keeping my ST on its own in my 106gal tank for a few months now after it was not well after what looked like a bout of dat disease.
its sores had started almost fully healed and only had minor scarring and it was eating again and quite active.
i turned the lights on tonight and got a real shock as its sores had come back with a vengence and it was not moving much at all.
i did a waterchange added salt and upped the temp and took some pics as it perked up again a little but it looks to be too late.

i was keeping an eye on it every 30 minutes and just went back into the other room and found it lying on the bottom and only breathing at a very shallow rate.
i dont think it will make it through the night.
i am not pleased.
