getting another 6'' + geo is like looking for rocking horse crap so probably not getting another for a while.

yep loubard all the other fish are ok even the apparently fragile uaru fernandies handled the 2 incidents very well.

I think you need more filtration for incidents like this.

I've had pretty big fish puking before, bichirs, oscars, clarias, wolf fish etc, but no deaths, and the water didn't look that bad.
 
i saw the thread title. i saw it was you dixon. im glad it wasnt the ray. but sorry for your loss anyway. he eating too much, or the prawns in too big pieces?

i hate losing geos i feel four you too.


as for the filtration issue i do believe i need more and will be buying a fx5 or eheim (not sure yet) in the next week or so.
