Can I make a suggestion? I would remove the mirror as soon as Norm shows aggression. Then the next time you introduce it, Id let him "fight" it a little longer, but still make the "opponent" "retreat" quickly. If the mirror just stays there it can get frustrating. You want him to do his display, and then you want him to feel that his display worked and the opponent ran away.
