Did you take it out of the tank to measure half an inch difference? If not, maybe it was just closer to the glass the second time you measured it. half an inch in 4 days sounds pretty crazy.

my lima i have had for 3 years now, it hasnt passed 7 inches, its perfectly healthy, i dunno why....

Pics? Water params, tank size and filtration? Sounds like something is wrong...

Limas do seem to grow pretty quick at the LFS, I've never had one myself, but they don't seem to grow as fast as the RTC's they have
What's the max size on one of these?

they max out at 24" more likly at 18" thought

What do you feed you Lima? Mine is growing kinda slow, but I think it is because he is such a picky eater. I wish he would eat pellets.
