Have been keeping this fella in a pure black tank including the base and sides. But till date, this fella is still so pale looking and it suppose to be a green aro.

what size is he at? sometimes colors dont come out until they hit a certain age in life. try tanning?

Yes has s/he always been like this, or has it progressively lighter? Is it eating normally or acting stressed out? Is it displaying it fins normally? I know your no noob so I'm assuming you've already checked the water...? I'm on my phone not my computer so the colors aren} as good on here.... but if you have a snow asian I'm going to $h!t myself haha!!!

Yes I do understand that when aro hit their age the colour should come. But this fella is over 2 years and due to previous owner's lack of feeding, it's about 17 inches in length only. And colour is pretty pale compared to those I have seen.

According to the previous owner and from what I have seen, it's always this pale. Infact it's more pale than the picture shown.

Trust me. This fella is eating like nobody's business when I transferred her into my RTG com. Been like this pale since day one though. But definately not a snow though from what I see. It's more like a super pale looking fella.

The photos I've seen of wild caught greens actually all look very pale like that. My first guess is a color morph, but second is that he's a wild fish.

It's from a reputated farm here in singapore.
