Have been keeping this fella in a pure black tank including the base and sides. But till date, this fella is still so pale looking and it suppose to be a green aro.:confused: :ROFL: :screwy:

what size is he at? sometimes colors dont come out until they hit a certain age in life. try tanning?

Yes has s/he always been like this, or has it progressively lighter? Is it eating normally or acting stressed out? Is it displaying it fins normally? I know your no noob so I'm assuming you've already checked the water...? I'm on my phone not my computer so the colors aren} as good on here.... but if you have a snow asian I'm going to $h!t myself haha!!!

Yes I do understand that when aro hit their age the colour should come. But this fella is over 2 years and due to previous owner's lack of feeding, it's about 17 inches in length only. And colour is pretty pale compared to those I have seen.:confused:

According to the previous owner and from what I have seen, it's always this pale. Infact it's more pale than the picture shown.

Trust me. This fella is eating like nobody's business when I transferred her into my RTG com. Been like this pale since day one though. But definately not a snow though from what I see. It's more like a super pale looking fella.:D
 
NICE> I love greens actually. I bet it's a slight color mutation. My first question is whether you know if he was actually captive bred or wild caught. The photos I've seen of wild caught greens actually all look very pale like that. My first guess is a color morph, but second is that he's a wild fish.
