Man, this sucks. Lost all the posts from the other NC members about some good fish stores. Sorry that you lost your pike by the way man. Hopefully you can get some more and get a breeding pair.

Yeah my posts dissapeared...wtf?? Anyway, I'm in Morrisville, NC and the store I was talking about was Aquarium Outfitters in Wake Forest. Its got an awesome freshwater selection and some saltwater stuff too.

I'm kinda looking forward to moving there, but not really, lol... hopefully I'll be able to set my pond/pool up there. Gonna be getting a breeding pair of dovii. I'm not into SW so that's not important to me. As long as I can get my predators and/or parachromis I'll be good.

The cichlid store in southport is my above and beyond all favorite, great assortment of angels and other types of fish as well.

I am in Wilson NC which is about an hour north of Fayetteville just off I-95. No good stores anywhere near here but I will be headed to that one in Wake Forest soon.

I live on the edge of Johnston and Wake County. The best store in this area is Carolina Pet Supply in Garner. ONLY lfs I have ever been to in NC that has Arowana and Peacock Bass.
