Northeast Ohio

Tropical Fish
Brunswick, Ohio

A newer store that is mostly dedicated to saltwater. Has an awesome central filtration system setup for his tanks. Also has a small pond with his private collection of rays on display. Does have some freshwater fish available as well as supplies and tanks for sale. Hector is the owner and he's very knowledgeable and willing to order what you need. He orders NLS in large buckets for me. Located a few miles west of I-71.

Something Fishy, inc
www.somethingfishyinc.net
Cleveland, OH

Excellent selection of African cichlids, many raised in Dave's basement hatchery. Also other freshwater and saltwater. Also carries supplies and fish food. Easy to get to off I-71. Does keep irregular hours so call before making the trip.

RMS Aquaculture
www.rmsaquaculture.com
Middleburg Heights, OH

Large store providing equipment, tanks, live plants, tropical and saltwater fish. Full service store. I purchased my tanks and stands here in 2004. Some basic equipment to start your setup. This store has been here forever and is well established in the community. The website leaves a lot to be desired but I usually find what I need when I go to the store. Located a couple miles from I-71.

Aquarium Adventure

Cleveland, OH

Basicly the same as Koops review for the Columbus Store. I haven't been there in the last year but they do have everything you need to setup your tank. Am still waiting for a super sale on aquariums before I go back in though. I really wish they had their prices online though as I might shop there more often. Located just off I-71.

good oned deeda. I am going to check out something fishy sometime. But i'm PMing him to see if I can get a good tour before I go.

Anyone have any other LFS nearer to Toledo, OH? I've been to Trilby Tropicals on Monroe st and they have a pretty big selection of fish for both saltwater and freshwater, however, very few oddballs (which are what I'm in to.) They did have a 4-5" jardini last time i went, and a 10-14" jardini in one of their display tanks. :nilly:

Haven't been there yet, but after reading this I'm definitely going to check it out. Was just wondering if there were any others i could visit as well, but it looks I'm gonna have to travel a bit if i wanna see more good stores.

If I were you I would look into whats in detroit. They may have a good selection and if nothingelse you can get with rosewood and go see his rays. I know he wouldn't mind.
