aquata.... I live right where the mouth of the merrimack is... Going out in a boat tomorrow - will let you guys know how I do. Caught 2 bullheads in the river tonight lol

Good Luck tomorrow let me know how u do.. What you use for bait?,

"Now remember just because you aint catchin it, doesnt mean it aint there."

the stripers are in everywhere... mostly schoolies. i fish down the canal on occasion and they are definitely there too. as far as i know, 2 keepers have been caught on wolly beach in quincy. (neither by me). use storm shads and other swim baits... or jig the bottom... nothing is hitting top water lures yet. a guy was using seaworms the other night if you are using bait, and from what i understand, people are getting tautog to hit from shore. (use crab as usual for those little beasts).

Been using herring as usual - no bass strikes yet. I would have, if they were "within my rod's area" - catch them nonstop once they are there... Been mostly night fishing, so we'll see how I do during the day.

Clams, Mackerel, Herring, Seaworms, Crabs, usually do the trick. Zing em out into the Rip, and let your line go out for awhile.. Make sure you dont let it get snagged, but the tides can make a little cast, turn into a perfect cast.

How many rods u bringin?

Only use one rod - only need one. Catching bullheads - no bass yet...

Well maybe thats why u dont catch schoolies yet.. I bring 4 surfcast rods whenever i go to Hampton to fish. I bring a camera every time, and since i dont fish alone sum1 always can take apic so i dont make up any fishing stories..When u goin to quit fishin for wimpy bullheads, thats the size of my bait.

Well... what happens down below is beyond my control. Can't keep bullheads away from Herring... Blues in yet in Hampton? They don't come in the Merrimack unfortunately.

i fish for me, nobody else... therefore no camera... remember that when i tell you about the mako shark i catch in a couple of months from shore on a freshwater rod.
