Does any one stalk any of these fish I would really like to know and see some pics. as a kid I always like fish, infact I wanted to be one when I grew up. but I was never overly excited about the one I seen in the pet store I liked the ones I caught with my dad in the lake. I still like thesse native fish more then other fish I see. Unfortunetally it is illegal for me to have them. So if any one does let me know

I am in Saskatchewan and would be interested to see too. I am new to the site so not sure if talking about "illegal" fish is allowed. I understand the governments reasons as to why you can't have Pike's and such but wish there was some place I could take my kids (other than fishing) to see the fish alive and swiming around in a tank. Great education for all in Sask, Alberta ect.

I dont entirly Understan the reasoning It woul Be great If you could explain to me. I looked into It and was told that If I wanted to keep them I had to get a reasech permit but unfortunentally I am not doing reasearch on them so It wouldent work.

Dont worry about talking about illegal fish they do It all the Time. e.g Asian Aros an Snakeheads.

Is it legal any where to keep northern Pike.

Check out the "Coldwater, Temperate and North American Native Fish" sub-forum on this site.
